I recently went to a spa and got my first facial and I have to say that I have seen a huge difference in my complexion. I just have a few questions to ask-
In your opinion (if you've had a facial!!), is it worth the $30??
Are there any long-term benefits to getting facials?
How often should I get a facial?
What exactly do facials do? The one I got they had some kind of steam machine they put on my face. What is it doing?Spa Facial Questions?
First of all, where did you get a good facial for $30? That is an awesome deal!
I get a facial every 6 weeks and recommend it for anyone and everyone who will listen.
Yes! There are definitely long-term benefits. Get regular facials and use good quality skin care products and stay out of the sun. I am almost 40 and still get carded. Others cannot believe that I have 15 and 13 year old daughters. (I tell them I had them when I was 10.)
The steam opens up your pores so that the esthitician can clean them out. They exfoliate and apply a masque to close up the pores. You may get extractions, too. This is when the esthitician pulls out the gunk in your pores. Gross! I know, but it works and it feels great after.
You are on your way to taking great care of your skin. If you can get it for $30, that's even better!Spa Facial Questions?
yes facials are worth $30 thats actually a very good price
the long term benefits to a facial are they could help with any skin problems you may have especially acne
you should get a facial at least once a month
facials open up your pours to get rid of dirt and oils that clog pours also the esthetician can help recommend products you can use at home
I get facials once a month and also take care of my skin at home but when I get a facial my skin glows. I figure it's a combination of the steam (it opens the pores and lets dirt and oil out and product can penetrate more easily), the massage (drains fluid build up and tones muscles) and the products they use (much better then cheep drug store stuff that clogs your pores). By the way $30 is an amazing price you should do it once a month.
well, I think you can do just as good of a job by yourself at home!
I didn't really see a huge difference after I got a facial, if anything it made my face more red, which is kind of normal at first.
regardless - the steam opens your pores, and cleans them out. it's definitely worth it, but you can do it yourself at home. just fill up a large bowl of steaming water.
I've heard from dermatologist that facial are not needed for healthy clear skin, its just a luxury
and the results are minimal,
but hey they do clean your face and make you feel refreshed so if it makes you feel good
go for it
pamper yourself
